UPDATE:
National Firefighters Endowment is on the ground in the Broad Channel, Breezy Point and Rockaways, New York. So far we have been able to get radio communications back up for 4 different fire departments, through a generous donation by Thales Communications, a replacement fire engine is in route and more equipment deliveries are being coordinated throughout the coming weeks. The devestation is unfathomable, but people are coming together to make a difference. Thank you for everyone's support. You are truly having an impact.
